What is a Proximity Analysis Report?
A Proximity Analysis Report is a consequence management tool that identifies resources,
attractions, and potential threats or targets near your locations in order to support
informed security and operations decisions. No matter how well you secure your individual
sites, the surrounding environment may still have an impact on your operations.
Custom Points of Interest (POI)
The Custom POI feature of Proximity Analysis Reports allows you to upload your own
points of interest (such as the location of violent incidents, attractive nuisances,
or competitor locations) in order to view nearby points that are meaningful to your
organization’s specialized goals and concerns. Account administrators are
able to upload Excel files containing these customized points by navigating to the
Custom POI tab within the account’s “Manage” menu.
