Some block groups are supported by directly observed incidents; others use modeled estimates anchored to those observations. Every block group is scored on the same standardized 0-2000 scale.

Below 100 indicates lower relative risk. Above 100 indicates higher relative risk. Example: A CAP score of 253 means that the location has a risk rate that is approximately 2.5 times the national average.
