Industry Veteran David R. Feeney, CPP, joins CAP Index

A highly respected voice in Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM), Dave has joined the Research, Innovation and Security Consulting (RISC) team at CAP Index. With more than 20 years of experience in physical and cyber security, security and risk assessment, guard and GSOC operations, and security strategy and planning, Dave has helped shape best practices across industries. He’s been a longtime leader within ASIS International and a contributor to ISO standards. In addition, he holds multiple industry certifications, including: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).

This addition reflects a growing need in the industry for integrated, data-informed security strategies. Dave’s role is designed to enhance the application of CAP Index data and models in real-world settings by:

• Offering expert input on how to interpret and leverage CAP data to enhance clients’ security planning, strategy, and operations
• Contributing guidance on standards, compliance, and risk governance
• Collaborating on projects that benefit from deeper crime risk modeling or analysis, or broader security risk modeling that goes beyond crime risk
• Helping interpret data or tailor modeling to fit unique environments or security risk challenges

His work will complement the services and capabilities our clients already rely on, helping organizations get even more from the insights CAP Index provides.
