To support this expansion, we’ve brought on David Feeney to lead our Security Consulting practice. A nationally recognized security strategist, Dave is known for defining and implementing leading practices across the industry. RISC brings together the analytical depth of CAP Index’s risk modeling with proven security consulting expertise—delivering custom strategies, site plans, and actionable, data-driven guidance. With this addition, CAP Index is building on its trusted crime risk forecasting—now offering support to help clients plan for, respond to, and reduce risk.

Leadership rooted in expertise, strategy, and innovation

With eight years of Big 4 consulting experience and over 20 years of security experience, Dave’s expertise spans physical and cyber security, security and risk assessment, guard and GSOC operations, and security strategy and governance. Most recently a Senior Manager at Deloitte, he has led consulting engagements for leading global brands and industry organizations.

A longime leader within ASIS International, Dave has chaired the Professional Standards Board, the Physical Security Council, and the technical committee that authored the ASIS Guideline for ESRM – a key global leading practice for modern security management. He also contributes to international ISO standards development and is widely respected for advancing the security profession through research and collaboration.
