CAP Index Accessibility Statement

CAP Index is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and working to apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Accessibility Statement

Our Efforts

CAP Index takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of our websites, including https://capindex.com and https://crimecast.capindex.com

  • Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.
  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. CAP Index is currently updating our websites to meet conformance with WCAG 2.1 level AA. As of this date, we are partially conformant, which means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Additional Accessibility Considerations

Although our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we are also working to apply some Level AAA Success Criteria.

Continuous Monitoring of Content

In the interest of staying ahead of emerging technology, the CAP Index websites are tested regularly with the latest software and methodologies to maintain accessible content for all. Specifically, the CAP Index websites are tested with assistive technology including screen reader software, alternative input (keyboard only) functionality, color contrast analyzers, and magnification software. In addition to accessibility compatibility testing, the CAP Index websites are also tested for usability. It is our goal to not only meet the minimum accessibility standards,, but to exceed them by ensuring that the websites are also usable. We are committed to addressing any issues that may arise while accessing our digital content and will readily provide assistance as needed if immediate solutions are not available.
