Walter E. Palmer serves as the Chief Operating Officer / Executive Vice President of CAP Index. Mr. Palmer spearheads the company’s corporate strategy as well as providing clients with guidance and insight into the latest security trends, premises liability litigation issues, and risk management strategies. Mr. Palmer has more than thirty-five years of experience in a wide range of security and loss prevention disciplines and is recognized as a leading consultant in the Asset Protection industry. 

Palmer serves as a strategic advisor to multiple industry associations and groups and is a frequent speaker at events around the globe and author for industry and mainstream media publications. He is a Certified Forensic Interviewer and Certified Fraud Examiner and has been adjunct faculty at both the university level and for industry seminars. He received his Bachelor of Science from Eastern Kentucky University majoring in Security and Loss Prevention with a minor in Fire and Safety Engineering.
